Domisilium Studio is an architecture and interior design firm based in Jakarta, fueled by passionate doodlers, detail monsters and culture vultures. Founded back in 2009 by Santi Alaysius and Humphrey Tedja, they operate with a singular vision of endless dedication to creating functional and livable spaces, fostering innovations in environmentally responsible construction, and designing sophisticated, timeless and uplifting spaces for the fullest enjoyment of life. This ambition is captured by their name, ‘Domisilium’, an ode to Santi and Humphrey's return to Jakarta, their home, their domisili, from studies abroad in Chicago, IL. It also becomes the studio’s philosophy in design, that every project they tackle, whether it be residences, restaurants, hotels or offices, must have that ‘homey’ feeling.
