When crochet meets ceramic, they hug each other in longing. Once again, they reunite - not in here, but somewhere else out of this world. For this second round of collaboration, Margaret Yap’s creatures are taking off to space with Égon. The choices of invigorating colours and knotted details depict the mysterious, blazing feel of outer space. Just like a constellation where every star is connected, Égon too, using a new technique called loom knit, will try to join together ceramic and yarn - as if they have always belonged together, instead of two separate entities. After all, what becomes of a constellation without its star?
