Embroidery on two canvases by Gracia Veronica. Portraying a flower emerging from a skeleton, resembling the imagery of Día de Muertos, a traditional Mexican celebration of the dead.
Gracia Veronica’s embroidery journey started from the techniques passed onto her by her mother. After three years of sharpening the craft, she finally arrived at the image she wishes all her artworks would portray: wild and eccentric, evident in her portrayals of strong and intimidating characters.
