Ming Ceramics Edt. II: Phoenix Teapot
IDR 200.000,00
A Risograph reproduction of a Ming dynasty teapot by Studio Metta Setiandi, as part of her Heritage series.
Best to pair with the Dragon Teapot on Edt. I as a symbol of Yin and Yang. A heavenly match that attracts harmony, fortune and auspiciousness.
Metta Setiandi’s work is distinctly influenced by social anthropology, humanities, culture, and especially her upbringing in Glodok, the so-called Chinatown of Jakarta. She created the Heritage series as a means to encourage people to preserve their ancestors' legacy; by inviting its essence into their everyday lives and collecting items that evoke stores and meaning to surround us with its beauty and traditional values.

Dimensions: A5 14 L x 20 H cm (Small)
Please note that the frame is for reference only, and is not included with the print(s).
